On Saturday night, the Welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington will set to battle it out for the 170 pound title, in main event of UFC 245 in a fight that has seen bad blood spilled on both the sides in near year and a half build up. A UFC Welterweight Championship bout between current champion Kamaru Usman (also The Ultimate Fighter: and the American Top Team vs. Blackzilians winner) and the former interim champion Colby Covington has been slated to serve as the event headliner in the event.
Kamaru Usman enters this fight the champ after scoring a win over Tyron Woodley for the belt in March while Covington comes in with a win over the Robbie Lawler in which he set the record for most strikes in a fight. And on this card are a pair of title fights, which includes the women’s bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes taking on Germaine de Randamie and the featherweight champ Max Holloway battling Alexander Volkanovski.
