As the virus is foot holding to spread around the world, the governments are stepping up their responses.

Australia, United States and New Zealand have all announced that they will not allow any foreign nationals to enter their respective country, who have traveled from or transited through China. All the three countries will continue to allow the citizens who have visited China to enter although they will need to be quarantined. Some governments have also upstretched their travel advisory warnings and for instance, US has labeled the China a “do not travel” destination, the highest possible warning.

The US Defense Secretary, Mark Esper has approved a request to provide a military housing for up to 1,000 people, who may need to be quarantined after arriving in US from overseas travel, the Pentagon said in a statement.

The fears over the pandemic have also rattled the global stock markets and also forced both the US and global carriers to make changes with the flight schedules, as demand for China travel declines.
