Deadly Attack of Coronavirus Outbreak, International Response?

After the deadly attack of coronavirus outbreak, now China aims to open a new hospital in the city at the centre of “coronavirus outbreak” in Wahan, as the numbers of people infected continue to grow.

The hospital facility built in just 8 days, Wuhan’s 1,000-bed Huoshenshan Hospital, is one of two dedicated facilities being made available to help tackle the outbreak.

A 44-year-old Chinese man from Wuhan, the patient, who appeared to have been infected before arriving in the Philippines, died. After the onset of that virus, many countries have barred the foreigners arriving from China, and are quarantining their own citizens.

According to the latest figures from China’s National Health Commission on Monday revealed that alongside the confirmed cases, there were:

21,558 suspected cases

152,700 people “under medical watch”

And unfortunately, there have been more than 150 confirmed cases of the virus outside China. The hospitals in the province of Hubei where Wuhan is located are reportedly overwhelmed and struggling to treat the growing number of patients.

It’s conformed now, there are more than 150 cases in 26 countries or territories outside of mainland China. In this list, Germany confirmed its 10th case on Sunday, and there were also new cases reported South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Macao and Hong Kong.

As the virus is foot holding to spread around the world, the governments are stepping up their responses.

Australia, United States and New Zealand have all announced that they will not allow any foreign nationals to enter their respective country, who have traveled from or transited through China. All the three countries will continue to allow the citizens who have visited China to enter although they will need to be quarantined. Some governments have also upstretched their travel advisory warnings and for instance, US has labeled the China a “do not travel” destination, the highest possible warning.

The US Defense Secretary, Mark Esper has approved a request to provide a military housing for up to 1,000 people, who may need to be quarantined after arriving in US from overseas travel, the Pentagon said in a statement.

The fears over the pandemic have also rattled the global stock markets and also forced both the US and global carriers to make changes with the flight schedules, as demand for China travel declines.
