Beyoncé, The Lion King: The Gift inspired by Disney’s new version

The newly curated and produced the new album by Beyoncé, The Lion King: The Gift that was inspired by Disney’s new version, of the classic film. The album is out now that features contributions from a star cast of collaborators, which includes Blue Ivy Carter, JAY-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Childish Gambino, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Major Lazer, and others. About the new record, Beyoncé has referred it as a “love letter to Africa” as it also features the multiple African artists and producers.

On “MOOD 4 EVA,” DJ Khaled is listed as a producer, the collaboration between Beyoncé, Childish Gambino and JAY-Z. S co-producer is Syd on “OTHERSIDE,” and Diplo co-produced the “ALREADY.” “NILE,” is the collaboration between Beyoncé and Kendrick, features production from Sounwave, Kendrick’s frequent collaborator who worked on DAMN and Black Panther.

The Blue Ivy-featuring song “BROWN SKIN GIRL”, JAY-Z is also given a co-writer credit and album is full of dialogue, taken from the film as interludes, which includes several prominent guest spots from James Earl Jones.

Bey also released lead single the  “Spirit” ahead of the new LP earlier in this month. She has also shared a colorful music video for that track. “The Lion King” is in theaters this weekend, it  and stars Beyoncé, Seth Rogen, Donald Glover, John Oliver,  Eric André, and others.
